Crispy Tofu Sandwich

So I found this recipe recently for a fried tofu sandwich. This thing was amazing, it’s a vegan sandwich which is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had a really unique texture and flavor. The tofu block gets marinated in pickle juice and chili paste, giving the whole thing such a unique flavor. It does take a little time, but honestly, the process is pretty simple, and the eggless batter used to coat the tofu really was so cool. Ok so let’s get started. We are going to end up cooking the tofu twice, once in the pan to give some browning right before we marinate it and the second time when we deep fry it.

Cola from Scratch

So today we are going to make some cola, the final product was pretty close to what you might get at the store, but I'll let you guys be the judge. This recipe has three main parts, we need to make the flavoring, which is called 7x for some reason, we need to prepare all of the other components that go into the soda syrup, and we need to cook it all together. All in all, this recipe is actually pretty simple so let's get into.

Home-made Big Mac

So today I wanna make my own Big Mac because at home because as my cola video is a testament to I clearly have a problem with making things that I could easily buy. I do have to say this was a really fun project and it came out just as good if not better than the infamous burger. The burger tasted exactly like a McDonald's Big Mac, although in my opinion, the bun was even better. The secret sauce was spot on.

Strawberry Milk from Fresh Strawberries

Today I want to show you how to make strawberry milk from fresh strawberries. I remember drinking the nestle strawberry milk made from syrup from my childhood, and I thought this stuff would be impossible to make, well, it turns out to be really simple. It almost tastes like one of those strawberry shortcake ice cream pops. The recipe is really just three ingredients. Most recipes I found online, said to heat the strawberries over the stovetop. This isn't the best idea, cooking strawberries not only changes the flavor but also leads to a browning due to complex enzymatic reactions. This will lead to strawberry milk with a pretty gross color, so I was able to work out a method that created a delicious strawberry milk with the proper pastel pink color.

Gooey Melty Giant Peanut Butter Cups

There used to be a really amazing restaurant in Tucson called Bumsted's. They made these super delicious decadent peanut butter and brownie cups, they would then heat these things up and the whole thing would be just the most amazing melty mess. Tasting just like a giant Reese's Peanut Butter cup. I was able to reach out and get the recipe and was given permission to share it with all of you guys.
